There are at least 39 uses of the hand of Jehovah in the Old and New Testament. However, the Hebrew preposition translated upon or against is important. Generally, when the = hand of the LORD is used with the Hebrew preposition B980 (against), the consequences of unbelief are revealed. When this phrase is used with preposition B7335 (upon), the blessings of having God’s holy spirit upon the Old Testament s= aint are made known.
